Heygrixy is a decision-support tool for builders. This page explains what we store, how your AI key is handled, and the choices you have.

Information you provide

To run a workspace we use the email you enter, the project memory you create (name, stage, audience, goal, constraints), the questions you submit, and any saved decisions, pages, or feedback. This content is stored so the product can show your history and project context.

Your OpenRouter API key (BYOK)

Heygrixy uses a bring-your-own-key model. Your OpenRouter API key is kept in your browser and is sent to our backend only to make the AI request on your behalf. It is never displayed again after saving, never returned to the browser, and never written to our logs or error messages. We recommend using a usage-limited key.

How AI requests work

Your question and selected project context are sent to OpenRouter, a third-party model router, to generate the three model responses and the GRIXY verdict. That request is subject to OpenRouter's terms and privacy policy. We do not use your content to train models.

Storage and retention

Decisions, project memory, pages, and feedback are stored on the server to provide the product. You can delete projects, saved decisions, and pages from inside the app at any time, which removes them from active storage.

What we do not do

We do not sell your data. We do not store your API key inside feedback records or logs. We collect no more than what is needed to run the workspace and improve verdict quality.

Contact

For privacy questions, contact the Heygrixy team through the channel you were given access from. As the product matures, a dedicated support address will be published here.
